A rich, musical tone, designed for pros

The Silver Sky Defender features 635JM “S” pickups that deliver full, highly musical tones, particularly highlighted in the high frequencies. These pickups are the result of meticulous attention to the specific tonal characteristics desired by John Mayer, making this instrument ideal for his playing style.

A Poplar Body for Perfect Balance

The guitar’s body is crafted from poplar, a wood species that offers a well-balanced alternative to alder. Affordable and accessible, poplar is often used in the construction of mid-range instruments, while still providing a warm and responsive tone.
