Line array
The RCF HDL 6-A is a professional active line-array module designed for the most demanding applications: touring, live events, fixed installations or mobile systems. Combining power, precision and lightness, it offers outstanding sound performance in a compact, easy-to-deploy format.
Thanks to its two-channel 1,400 W Class D digital amplifier and internal DSP processing (cross-over, phase correction, limiting and protection), the HDL 6-A is ready to use, ensuring clear, powerful reproduction every time.
High-performance neodymium transducers
The RCF HDL 6-A features professional-quality components:
- 2 6'' neodymium woofers for precise bass and midrange reproduction.
- 1 1.7" voice coil compression driver mounted on a 100° × 10° waveguide.
This design guarantees controlled directivity and optimum speech intelligibility, even at long range.
Digital amplification and integrated DSP processing
Its Class D amplification delivers up to 1,400 W peak (approx. 700 W RMS). The 32-bit/48 kHz DSP provides crossover management, phase correction, thermal protection and dynamic limiters.
The result: coherent, stable and faithful sound reproduction, whatever the volume or type of application.
Robust construction and compact size
The HDL 6-A cabinet is made of reinforced polypropylene composite and wood, offering an excellent compromise between rigidity, durability and lightness.
Integrated aluminum handles facilitate transport and assembly, while the symmetrical design ensures even coverage without phase shifts or wave breaks.
Precise directionality and homogeneous coverage
The HDL 6-A's 100° × 10° waveguide provides wide, controlled dispersion, perfect for line array applications. In both suspended and surface-mounted configurations, coverage remains fluid, ensuring uniform sound distribution throughout the listening area.
Ready for the road and fixed installations
Designed to meet the needs of service providers and integrators, the RCF HDL 6-A adapts to all configurations:
- Touring and live events: rapid assembly, high mechanical resistance.
- Fixed installations: constant performance, minimal maintenance.
- Mobile use: low weight (~11.5 kg) and plug-and-play design.
Why choose the RCF HDL 6-A?
- Ultra-compact, lightweight design for easy transport.
- Professional sound quality with neodymium transducers and integrated 32-bit DSP.
- High power and reliability of RCF components.
- Symmetrical design for even sound coverage.
- Ideal for suspended line arrays or fixed installations.
Recommendations for use
Although the frequency response of the HDL 6-A goes down to around 65 Hz, the addition of a complementary RCF subwoofer is recommended for applications requiring extreme low-frequency extension.
For multi-module configurations, we recommend checking the electrical distribution (230 V / 115 V) and wiring according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
