Active full-range speaker
RCF's NX 12-SMA is a high-performance active monitor designed for musicians, singers, DJs and sound technicians looking for powerful, precise and reliable monitoring. Thanks to its coaxial design (integrated 12? woofer + HF motor), the loudspeaker offers exceptional sonic coherence, with a controlled 60° × 60° dispersion, ideal for a versatile, easy-to-place stage monitor.
Featuring bi-amplified digital amplification delivering 700 W RMS / 1,400 W Peak, the NX 12-SMA combines high acoustic pressure, dynamics and clarity. The neodymium HF motor and 12? woofer ensure solid bass, present midrange and precise vocal reproduction, essential for live applications.
The chassis is constructed from Baltic birch plywood, a robust material renowned for its lightness and durability on tour. The reinforced black paint finish protects the speaker from impact and wear. Its side-mounted handle and 35 mm base allow it to be used both on the floor (as a stage monitor) and on a stand as a main loudspeaker in smaller configurations.
Two equalization modes are available: Floor - optimized for use on the floor as a stage monitor, and Free Field - designed for front-of-house applications or mobile sound reinforcement.
This makes the NX 12-SMA an extremely versatile professional solution, equally suited to live stages, mobile installations and DJ performances requiring high power, excellent clarity and robustness.
