Sadowsky MV5 Metroline Vintage Japan (MN) - natural

Produced in Japan with the utmost attention to detail and delivered in a Sadowsky Softcase, the sumptuous SADOWSKY Metroline Vintage 21 Fret Japan MV5 (MN, OWH), with its solid Ash body and custom active pre-amp, is a fabulous reinterpretation of a benchmark American solidbody electric bass, in a 5x string version.
No concessions are made on any level: the wood species used are sublime, the assembly and finishing meticulous, and the sound is on a par with the rest. The MV5 is equipped with custom active electronics, with the VTC tone filter complementing the bass and treble potentiometers (each of which is assigned to a pre-determined frequency that you can boost or cut). The Vintage Tone Control attenuates high frequencies and gives a very natural vintage color to your tones (as if the bass were passive). The difference between the Vintage and Standard models is purely aesthetic: pickguard and potentiometer plate on the Vintage range.
