Manufactured in Germany at the Warwick workshops, the SADOWSKY MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage M/J Bass, Red Alder Body, Morado Fingerboard, 4-String (SML21MJ4 28 ALD FR) is a sublime reinterpretation of a benchmark American solid-body electric bass.

High-quality craftsmanship for rich and varied tones

Its construction combines an American alder body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a Morado fingerboard (set with 21 frets). This traditional design produces a consistent, dense, and responsive acoustic foundation, featuring:

Thick, punchy bass
Prominent mids
Dynamic and clear highs

Morado (Pau Ferro), sourced from the forests of Brazil and Bolivia, offers high density that produces tones hybrid between rosewood and maple. Its very pleasant feel is undeniably reminiscent of ebony.

Unmatched versatility and tonal control

The Vintage M/J Bass is ultra-versatile thanks to a pair of Sadowski hum-canceling pickups—a J-Style (Jazz Bass©-type) and an MM-Style humbucker (Music Man©-type)—as well as custom-designed active electronics. In addition, the VTC (Vintage Tone Control) filter enhances traditional bass and treble settings by attenuating high frequencies, giving your tones an authentic vintage character—almost as if the bass were passive.
