Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
After years of development and countless circuit improvements, here's the SUHR Ian Thornley Thornicus Octave Fuzz. Designed in collaboration with Ian Thornley, the Thornicus is an exceptional dual-function pedal featuring two independent fuzz saturation channels with individual controls. An avid fuzz enthusiast, Ian Thorley claims that the Thornicus is the quintessential fuzz pedal. It produces characteristic distortion, rough and explosive, with a thick, rich and highly musical gain worthy of the best saturations in the genre!
The Octave channel is similar to the Fuzz channel, but with an octave circuit in series (upstream of the fuzz channel). Thanks to the Sustain, Mids, Tone and Level controls, you can obtain a second, totally different sound. It's not possible to combine the two channels; it's one or the other. Channel selection can be made via MIDI. Ian Thornley is a virtuoso Canadian singer and guitarist. Trained at Boston's Berklee College of Music, he is internationally renowned for his work with the bands Big Wreck and Thornley, where he showcases his musical excellence.
