The TAKAMINE GN30 BSB is a compact steel-string acoustic guitar (NEX type, close to a Grand Auditorium) designed for smaller body types. Ergonomic and pleasant to play, it's a quality instrument that benefits from the expertise of the Japanese firm. Solid spruce top, laminated mahogany back/thicknesses/neck, Ovangkol fingerboard. Ovangkol is an African relative of Rosewood. It has most of the same acoustic characteristics, but with a more generous midrange and glossier treble.
