Left-handed model with solid torrefied top, Sapele back and sides. The TAYLOR 110ce Left-handed steel -string acoustic guitar is an electro-acoustic Dreadnought featuring a solid torrefied Sitka Spruce top, laminated Sapele body, Ebony fingerboard and Taylor ES2 Preamp. Sitka Spruce is the traditional choice for the vast majority of acoustic guitars. Thanks to a perfect balance between robustness and elasticity, Sitka generates a direct, punchy sound with impeccable articulation. Sapele is a perfect substitute for mahogany, both in appearance and sound, although its slightly greater hardness makes it noticeably more crystalline.

In addition to giving the wood a beautiful patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument's tuning stability, sustain, clarity and resonance. The Taylor Expression System 2 pre-amp is the fruit of many months of research, with a remarkable end result. Few pre-amplifiers are capable of transcribing the intrinsic temperament and subtlety of an acoustic guitar with such rigor and finesse. The ES-2 is composed of three elements combining a dynamic sensor on the soundboard, another sensor located under the fingerboard, and finally a pre-amp whose voicing has been meticulously calibrated.
