Folk guitar
Particularly pleasant to play thanks to its compact size and short scale (24-7/8", bridge repositioned), the TAYLOR 362ce 12-String 12-Fret is an extremely attractive and user-friendly 12-string electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic folk guitar in Grand Concert size. Made of solid woods - tropical mahogany top, tropical mahogany back and sides, Ebony fingerboard - it is fully functional thanks to its Venetian cutaway and Expression System 2 pre-amp.
The innovative V-Class bracing, developed by master luthier Andy Powers, gives the instrument better projection, tonal balance, intonation and sustain.
The Grand Concert template was customized by Taylor in 1984 to meet the needs of finger-pickers looking for an alternative to the darker, more expansive sounds of Dreadnought and Jumbo formats. Grand Concert instruments are highly accessible and endearing, all the more so as their scale is generally lowered to further optimize grip, complex chords and phrasing.
Taylor Expression System 2 Preamp: in order to faithfully reproduce the amplitude and fundamental character of their acoustics, it took Taylor several years to develop the Expression System (ES). Thanks to new sensors and a significantly reworked circuit, the Expression System 2 offers even greater responsiveness and dynamics, and according to Taylor, around 25% more warmth.
