Folk guitar

Overseen by the Gibson Custom Shop, the EPIPHONE Inspired By Gibson Custom Collection 1957 SJ-200 Reissue electro-acoustic folk guitar (EIGCJ2057ANAGH1) is a replica of the vintage Gibson SJ-200 from the 1950s, in its second version. The back and sides of models produced before 1947 were made of Rosewood, replaced by Maple after that date.

Traditionally crafted from premium-grade solid woods, with torrefied spruce top, maple back and sides, two-piece glued maple neck (C profile), Indian rosewood fingerboard, L.R. Baggs VTC preamp. The "Thermally Aged" torrefaction process subjects the woods to accelerated drying through exposure to high temperatures. The result is greater stability and resonance.
