This platform combined with solid Hawaiian Koa luthiery, Ebony fingerboard and Taylor ES2 pre-amp makes the 326ce an irresistible instrument of great standing. Designated by Bob Taylor in 2006 and updated by Andy Powers in 2020, the Grand Symphony template produces powerful tones and a wide frequency range. Koa is a dense tropical wood from Hawaii that combines the midrange of Mahogany with the brilliance of Maple. When used in conjunction with a regularly played instrument, Koa rapidly improves and opens up its sonorities, gaining in harmonic richness, smoothness and resonance.

The Taylor Expression System 2 pre-amp is the fruit of many months of research, but the end result is remarkable. Few preamplifiers convey the intrinsic temperament and subtlety of an acoustic guitar with such rigor and finesse. The ES-2 is made up of three elements combining a dynamic sensor on the soundboard, another sensor located under the fingerboard, and finally a preamp whose voicing has been meticulously calibrated.
