The TD 202 is a manual hi-fi turntable designed for everyday use, combining ease of use and sound quality, from Thorens.
It features a belt drive, DC motor and integrated phono preamp, ideal for immediate enjoyment of your vinyl records.
With its 30 cm die-cast aluminum platter and compatibility with 33 and 45 rpm speeds, it guarantees stable, faithful playback. Its meticulous design and numerous features make it an ideal choice for discerning vinyl lovers.
Superior audio quality thanks to integrated phono preamp
The TD 202 features a disengageable line phono preamp, allowing you to connect it directly to the line input of an amplifier, hi-fi system or even active speakers. You can also deactivate this preamp to use a dedicated phono input or an external preamp as required.
An aluminum tone arm for pure sound
Equipped with a statically balanced, lightweight aluminum straight-arm, the turntable ensures precise groove tracking and noise-free playback. The arm features adjustable antiskating and a cell holder compatible with all standard 1/2" phono cells (3.5 to 6 g).
Audio-Technica AT95E cell included
The Audio-Technica AT95E cell, factory-assembled and tuned, lets you start listening to your vinyl immediately. Featuring an elliptical diamond, it ensures warm, precise sound reproduction. The cell can be easily replaced by any other model compatible with the 1/2" mounting system.
Digitize your vinyl via USB
Thanks to its integrated USB output, the Thorens TD 202 allows you to digitize your vinyl records on a PC or Mac using software such as Audacity. So you can archive your vinyl, correct minor defects and adjust levels to preserve your records in digital format.
