Thorpyfx Field Marshal Fuzz MKII

Discover the THORPYFX The Field Marshal Fuzz MKII, an effects pedal that combines performance and tradition, offering a wide range of tones for guitarists looking to explore both vintage and modern sounds.

Overview

Manufactured in England using high-performance components, the THORPYFX The Field Marshal Fuzz MKII is a reinterpretation of the legendary Lovetone Big Cheese Fuzz from the 1990s. This compact version features ample headroom, reduced background noise, and expanded control options, allowing you to transition seamlessly between vintage tones and unique sounds.

Versatile tones thanks to a sophisticated analog circuit

Its fully analog circuit allows you to achieve everything from mellow fuzz tones to more aggressive, harsh, or distorted sounds, reminiscent of a damaged speaker. The three-position Mode switch offers several distortion options:

• Gated fuzz
• A response with a deeper midrange
• More pronounced mids

Intuitive control for a custom sound

The Tone control allows for precise adjustment of the balance between bass and treble, letting you switch from a warm, round distortion to a brighter, more incisive fuzz. Additionally, the second Cheese switch bypasses the EQ for a direct and expressive tone option. Thanks to the Balance knob, you’ll have two distinct output levels, making it easy to transition between a fuzz designed for rhythm and a massive fuzz for leads, without altering the other settings.
