In keeping with the VOX sound identity, the VOX V863-CA Custom Auto Wah Pedal combines traditional wah-wah functionality with the flexibility of two complementary modes, Auto and Pedal.
Unlike most automatic wah pedals, which use remodeled analog synthesizer VCF circuits, the V863-CA is built around a circuit that drives the inductor directly in response to the input signal.
- Envelope Generator mode: detects the input signal to activate the effect. The curve is determined by attack and tempo times - Envelope Follower mode: the wah reacts to your playing dynamics. In each Auto mode, you can reactivate Pedal mode. Release the pedal to return to automatic control, defined by the Transition Time knob.
