WARM AUDIO Throne Of Tone is a vintage-inspired saturation pedal (the sound of Eric Clapton's Blues Breakers) featuring two identical circuits with individual settings. Connoisseurs will recognize the design of the Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal, the first amp-in-a-box processor capable of reproducing mythical English tones. Artists such as John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr. and John Petrucci have been notable ambassadors for this effect. The Warm Audio Throne Of Tone allows both circuits to be compiled or activated independently. It's also possible to chain them in any order you like, thanks to a dedicated selector.
Each circuit is equipped with Volume, Gain, Tone and Presence controls, complemented by selectors to sculpt your tones to perfection. You'll be able to toggle between two voicings (Bluesbreaker and King of Tone), determine the circuit's basic operating mode (Distortion/OD/Boost) and saturation intensity (High Gain/Low Gain).
The Throne of Tone can operate at 9 or 18 volts. The Voltage Boost selector lets you double the circuit voltage for optimized amplitude and punch. Finally, there's an effects loop between the two circuits for integrating your other pedals.
