The Warm Audio WA-84-OC-N-ST Nickel is a matched pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones with transformers and an elegant nickel-plated finish. Supplied with two cardioid and two omnidirectional capsules, they offer great flexibility for recording and miking.
Designed around custom vintage capsules, the WA-84s respect classic design techniques and use carefully selected components to deliver warm, detailed and natural sound. Their fully discrete Class A architecture incorporates CineMag USA transformers, Wima capacitors and Fairchild transistors, ensuring a rich, stable and musical signal.
Designed to meet the demands of professional and home studios, as well as live and broadcast environments, the WA-84 is at home on a wide range of sources: acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, piano, strings, brass and wind instruments, with excellent definition and stereo coherence.
