Description
The Warm Audio WA-87jr Black is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for those who want clean, detailed, easy-to-mix pickups. Its K87-type capsule and discreet analog circuitry deliver a balanced sound, with good presence on vocals and natural definition on acoustic instruments. With very low self-noise (9 dBA), you'll pick up nuances without breath, even on quiet passages.
It also remains solid on loud sources: the -10 dB pad can handle up to 135 dB SPL, practical for drums, amps or brass instruments. The low-cut filter helps clean up the bottom end as soon as you start recording. And with its three polar patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-8), you can easily adapt the mic to your room and placement.
