Meticulously crafted in Japan, the YAMAHA A5R ARE Vintage Natural Dreadnought steel-string acoustic guitar (solid Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides) benefits from new, lightened bracing for a full-bodied bass and low-midrange, as well as the SRT2 Preamp for blending the direct sound of the piezo with a choice of two high-end studio pickups (Neumann KM56, Royer R122). ARE (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology gives the woodwinds that make up the instrument the maturity they would naturally have acquired over decades.
