Made in Japan, the YAMAHA Red Label FGX53 is a Dreadnought-style steel-string acoustic guitar featuring all-solid-wood construction (Sitka spruce top, mahogany back/thicknesses/neck, Ebony fingerboard), with the woods benefiting from the A.R.E. advanced ageing procedure. Specific dams have been developed specifically for this series, enhancing the instrument's performance according to the type of body size. Environmentally-friendly Yamaha A.R.E. technology consists in modifying the molecular properties of the wood. technology modifies the molecular properties of the essences by modifying temperature and humidity conditions to obtain sound characteristics identical to those of vintage instruments. Pre-amplified models are equipped with the 3-channel Atmosfeel system, combining 3 sensors for optimal guitar sound reproduction.
A traditional piezo sensor under the nut meticulously reproduces low frequencies, a second pickup under the top handles the bass and midrange duo, and the third contact sensor positioned near the bridge and bass strings reproduces high frequencies.
