The history of Yamaha FG acoustic guitars began in 1966 with the FG180 and FG150, which proved that excellent, comfortable instruments could be offered at ultra-democratic prices. The bracing has been redesigned by the R&D department, resulting in a new configuration that gives FG guitars fuller, more powerful bass and low-midrange frequencies. The range is available in a wide variety of wood species and finish combinations.
