The history of Yamaha FG acoustic guitars began in 1966 with the FG180 and FG150, which proved that excellent, comfortable instruments could be offered at ultra-democratic prices. With over 200 variants offered over the years, the success has never waned, and this YAMAHA FG850 NT Dreadnought with solid mahogany top and mahogany body won't disappoint.
The bracing has been redesigned by our R&D department, resulting in a new configuration that gives FG guitars a fuller, more powerful bass and low-midrange. The range is available in a wide variety of wood species and finish combinations.
