The YAMAHA Transacoustic LL-TA BS steel -string acoustic guitar (solid Engelmann spruce top, solid rosewood body, Ebony fingerboard) is a Dreadnought like no other: thanks to onboard Transacoustic technology, you'll enjoy an ideal acoustic environment without the need for an amp or effects.
A transducer on the inside back of the body transforms the piezo signal and transfers it mechanically to the back of the instrument, producing a reverb or chorus that is naturally amplified by the body.
Three controls allow you to mix the effects, adjust the output volume and deactivate the Transacoustic system. These acoustics sound as good as if they were 12 years old, thanks to the Acoustic Resonance Enhancement wood ageing process initially developed by Yamaha for its top-of-the-range models. This natural technique does not use any chemicals, but only acts on the molecular structure of the wood through a precise action on temperature and humidity conditions.
