Multieffect for acoustic guitar
Packed with a 30-second looper, drum machine, tuner and countless other features, the ZOOM A1 Four Acoustic is a powerful and affordable multi-effects pedalboard for acoustic instruments, compatible with acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, saxophone, trumpet, violin, harmonica and more. The ZOOM A1 Four Acoustic comes preloaded with over 80 effects, including 35 specifically designed for a variety of uses. Add depth and a new dimension with acoustic emulators and modeling. Reinvigorate the natural sound of your instrument, so your live performances sound just like your studio recordings. Select and recapture the sound of your favorite guitar brands and styles, and the A1/A1X FOUR makes it easier than ever to process the sound of your own acoustic guitar. With a selection of 15 factory presets (plus 13 more available as free downloads from Guitar Lab), you can choose your favorite acoustic guitar model - the D-28, for example - and instantly recapture the sonic characteristics of this renowned and original body shape. Impulse Response (IR) technology is used to capture the sonic fingerprint of all guitar bodies and shapes available in the A1/A1X FOUR and through Guitar Lab. Each acoustic guitar model can be fine-tuned with 4 parameters (gain, bass, midrange, treble) to control volume and perfect the audio output of your modeled sound.
In Tones, you can also set the acoustic guitar pickup selector (AG PU SEL) to match your guitar's pickup type (piezo or magnetic) and add a specific equalizer modeled after a wide variety of dedicated processors. Popular effects such as distortion, chorus and wah-wah are typically designed to work with an electric guitar. The A1/A1X FOUR offers brand-new effects that have been developed to handle the unique signals generated by acoustic instruments. In the case of saxophone and trumpet, the original acoustic sounds are controlled by the musician blowing louder or softer. In the A1/A1X FOUR, for example, the wah-wah effects are uniquely reworked by adding a low-pass filter to better control the processed frequency response of the instrument. This enables musicians to reach extreme frequency points while still blowing naturally into the instrument, without losing the expected sonic response of attack and release.
