Arc of light Solaris Germanium Fuzz / Boost - Black

Designed and manufactured in France, the ARC OF LIGHT Solaris Germanium Fuzz / Boost (Black) Boutique Pedal is built around a hand-tuned bias germanium circuit. The main components are an OC45 or an OC602 SPEZ in Q1, with Q2 varying from case to case (MP42 or OC44). The Solaris is capable of evolving progressively from subtle reinforcement of the original signal, to warm overdrive, to rich, organic fuzz. Its ability to react to modulations applied to the guitar's volume potentiometer is exceptional.
At moderate settings, it adds density and harmonics, exacerbating the natural midrange without masking the character of the guitar or amp. At higher settings, it produces a textured fuzz that remains dynamic and articulate, but without aggression. You can also experiment with combinations with your amp's saturated channel or another saturation pedal to add grit, sustain and complexity, while maintaining sonic homogeneity.

IMPORTANT: the manufacturer insists on using only isolated power supplies (Cioks, Strymon, Truetone) to avoid damaging the circuit.
