The BOURGEOIS Touchtone Series Vintage/TS OM is a premium Orchestra Model steel-string acoustic guitar made from the finest solid woods.
The exceptional quality of Bourgeois acoustics is due in particular to the traditional method of soundboard selection ("hand-voicing") in which Dana Bourgeois is a world-renowned specialist. This know-how guarantees optimal resonance, clarity and depth of each note, the hallmarks of the tonal identity of Bourgeois guitars.
Once the tops have been crafted in the Bourgeois workshops in Lewiston (Maine, USA) and validated by Dana himself, they are vacuum-packed and sent to the Eastman factory, where a group of luthiers trained in the Bourgeois philosophy will assemble the instruments with undeniable expertise.

This Touchtone Vintage/TS OM features an Alaskan Sitka Spruce top, Adirondack Spruce bracing, Indian Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard.

Sitka Spruce is the traditional choice for the vast majority of acoustic guitars. Thanks to a perfect balance between robustness and elasticity, Sitka generates a direct, punchy sound with impeccable articulation. These characteristics give this species great flexibility of sound and adaptability to virtually any playing style: strumming, flatpicking or fingerpicking. Adirondack is one of the most sought-after spruce varieties. Its clarity and projection are unquestionably superior to those of traditional Sitka Spruce, with muffled mids. Indian Rosewood is definitely one of the most popular traditional species. It has the fundamental imprint of Mahogany, with a strong midrange (albeit more subdued), but with a much wider frequency range at the bottom and top of the spectrum.
