The Dirty Little Secret Deluxe is the logical continuation of the Marshall Plexi emulation, going beyond the preamp circuit and adding the rest of this amp to give an extremely authentic version of this amp. The DLS's original circuitry is enhanced to include a phase inverter, a power amp simulation, an output transformer, a Super Bass / Super Lead selector, an external Presence low-pass filter, a new internal Tightness high-pass filter and a dedicated +10dB Line Out output. Another part of the DLS, a tube preamp simulator, is mounted as an integrated boost circuit that can be used independently of the main circuit. Thanks to the internal Effect Order selector, the Boost can be placed before the DLS for JCM900-style saturated sounds, or after it to increase overall volume without sacrificing clarity.
