Cort Core-PE Mahogany - open pore black burst

The CORT Core-PE Mahogany is an electro-acoustic Parlor guitar with all-solid-wood construction, mahogany top, back and sides, and an Ovangkol fingerboard. The integrated Fishman Sonitone system makes amplification simple and efficient (volume and tone controls in the soundhole).

The resurgence in popularity of small-format folk instruments such as the OM, Grand Auditorium or Parlor has led to a plethora of models on offer, and the Cort Core, in the entry/mid-range segment, is undoubtedly one of the most attractive on the market. Ovangkol is an African relative of Rosewood, whose essential properties it shares, with significantly more generous mids and more prominent highs, though less prominent than those of Maple.
