Crafted by the most experienced luthiers from top-grade woods, the Cort Gold Passion is a Grand Concert-style electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic folk guitar as elegant as it is powerful and functional. The body is made of torrefied Engelmann Spruce and AAA Flame Maple, the neck is mahogany and the fretboard is solid Ebony. The bevelling of the soundboard and the phosphorescent fretboard markers highlight the care taken in the design of this superb guitar.
The L.R. Baggs Anthem system will enable you to make high-quality recordings, with total respect for the guitar's sound identity. Englemann is a top-quality spruce. Less dense and paler than Sitka or Adirondack, it generates a noticeably more present midrange, a softer attack and remarkable clarity, helping to give the guitar a more vintage sound. In addition to giving the wood a lovely patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument's tuning stability, sustain, clarity and resonance.
