The timeless Dreadnought Slope Shoulder J-45 - aka The Workhorse - has been a favorite of legendary musicians since its release in 1942. It features an all-solid-wood construction (Sitka spruce top, mahogany back/ sides/neck, rosewood fingerboard), and a Fishman Presys VT pre-amp for easy amplification in concert or studio (volume/tone controls in the soundhole).CareThe nitrocellulose varnish, as on vintage Gibsons, plays a major role in the instrument's "breathing" thanks to its porous nature (vibrations are not muffled by the varnish).
