The Fender Precision Bass, the first electric bass, is equally referential, notably considered by the great Quincy Jones as the technological breakthrough that most decisively changed the music industry.
To celebrate the pivotal year of 1951 and the twenty-fifth anniversary of these two legendary instruments, Fender is offering a very special collection of Telecaster and Precision Bass models for 2026.

The FENDER 75th Anniversary Player II Telecaster (0146550549) continues the tradition of the very popular Fender Standard electric guitars and basses produced in Mexico.
Combining traditional features with more contemporary ones, the 75th Anniversary Player II Telecaster respects the deep identity of the original Tele, enhanced by remarkable playing comfort.

The luthiery, traditional in the best sense of the word, combines an Alder body, a bolt-on neck in Maple and a Rosewood fingerboard (set with 22 frets). A platform that generates a homogeneous, dense and responsive acoustic base, with thick, punchy lows, present mids and clear, dynamic highs.

Compared with a vintage model, its sound range is extended by a 22-fret (medium-jumbo) fingerboard and a pair of Fender Player Series Alnico V pickups. This single-coil design produces detailed lows, musical mids and glossy highs, with remarkable output volume and punch.
