Combining traditional features with more contemporary ones, the Player Advanced Stratocaster HSS HT respects the deep identity of the original Strat, augmented by a strong tropism for Hard-Rock and Metal sounds thanks to its Seymour Duncan JB pickup and Ebony fingerboard. Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coil pickups are overcoiled to generate a higher output level, consistent with that of the bridge pickup.
