The signature model of the lead singer of punk band Rancid, the FENDER Tim Armstrong Hellcat (0971752022) is a Concert-style electro steel-string acoustic guitar. The Tim Armstrong Hellcat features a solid Mahogany top, laminated Mahogany back and sides, Maple neck, Walnut fingerboard and Fishman CD preamp.
Tim Armstrong wanted to give his signature guitar a modern look by adding inlays on the neck: you'll find the Hellcat logo on the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th fret and two skulls on the 12th, giving this Fender a look that's sure not to go unnoticed. In a compromise between Rosewood, Mahogany and Maple, Walnut has a well-balanced bass/midrange/treble frequency balance, combined with remarkable clarity. Its bass is generous and precise, its midrange dense and its treble fleshy.
