The 1962 GIBSON Custom Shop Marcus King ES-345 With Fixed Vibrola semi-hollow body electric guitar (ES45MK25SCGH1) is a reinterpretation of a rare vintage model, customized for the young American Blues Rock phenomenon. Gibson has been using "Hot Hide Glue" since 2014, which has the exact properties of the adhesives used back then. Derived from animal proteins, Hide Glue is used in the music industry (notably by violin makers) or marquetry, as it has many advantages, including facilitating maintenance and possible repairs.

Preserving my GibsonNitrocellulose is an old-fashioned varnish that is highly prized for its acoustic qualities, but which requires particular care. Be careful not to place your guitar on any stand that could alter the varnish; we recommend the Hercules brand, whose foams have been designed to avoid this type of inconvenience. The "Gibson Vintage Restoration Kit" maintenance pack will enable you to clean and polish your guitar without risk.
