In the tradition of the brand's benchmark J-200s, the GIBSON Modern Ac oustic G-200 (MCJBG2AN ) is an electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar with a cutaway, crafted from solid woods (Sitka Spruce top, Walnut back and sides, Ebony fingerboard) that will express itself fully in a wide range of musical styles. The G-Writer features a Player Port on the top side, a Gibson concept dating back to the '60s and now updated. This manufacturing technique enables the musician to hear his guitar in the same way as his audience, for a totally immersive experience. Walnut has a hybrid character between Rosewood, Mahogany and Maple, with magnificent clarity. Produced in the USA and delivered in a luxury hardshell case. Since the change of management in 2018, good news has followed good news at Gibson: major investments to rehabilitate the production tool and offer an increased, homogeneous and constant production quality, pricing revised downwards, reworked ranges for greater readability, and icing on the cake quite a few new products.
