Embellished with a satin nitrocellulose varnish that accentuates its vintage temperament, the GIBSON Original Collection Hummingbird Faded (OCSSHFAN) is a "Square Shoulders" Dreadnought steel-string acoustic guitar made from solid woods (Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard) and pre-amplified by an LR Baggs VTC system. Introduced in 1960, it is, along with the J-45 and J-200, Gibson's most popular acoustic guitar.
The Hummingbird Faded has the warm, resonant character of the original model, benefiting from modern production techniques and an LR Baggs VTC preamp (volume and tone wheels in the soundhole).
