Gibson J-45 Original (Baggs HiFi DNA Preamp) - autumn burst

The Gibson J-45, nicknamed “The Workhorse,” has become one of the most iconic acoustic guitars in history. Since its introduction in 1942, it has shaped the sound of American folk music and has been featured on countless classic albums. Its warm, balanced, and expressive tone makes it a timeless instrument for today’s musicians.

Overview

The GIBSON Original Collection J-45 Original (OCRS45OGHFAB) embodies exceptional craftsmanship, combining high-quality materials. Its all-solid-wood construction is a remarkable feat: it features a Sitka spruce top, a mahogany bridge and body, and a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets. This classic design offers an excellent balance between projection, warmth, and clarity, with rich and prominent midrange tones.

An innovative pickup system for a natural sound

The J-45 Original is equipped with the exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system, which revolutionizes the playing experience. This system uses two sensors positioned beneath the bridge plate, capturing both the vibrations of the strings and those of the soundboard. This results in sound reproduction of exceptional fidelity.

• Recording the vibrations of the strings and the soundboard
• Active preamps for each pickup
• Volume and tone controls integrated into the soundhole

Versatility for all musicians

The Gibson J-45 Original stands out for its versatility. Whether you’re a fingerpicker or a strummer, this electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar adapts to all musical styles, making it a must-have for any musician looking for a high-quality instrument.
