Gibson Keb’ Mo’ 3.0 12-Fret J-45 - vintage sunburst

Made from premium-grade solid woods, the GIBSON Acoustic Artist Collection Keb' Mo' 3.0 12-Fret J-45 (AMRSKMVS) is the third signature model to emerge from Gibson's collaboration with the impressive American guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer, whose unique Post-Modern Blues style has won him no fewer than eight Grammy-Awards.
As singular as the artist whose name it bears, the Keb' Mo' 3.0 12-Fret J-45 is distinguished by the combination of the traditional Dreadnought Round Shoulder jig, a twelve-fret neck and a soundboard made of "Thermally Aged" torrefied essences. An exceptional instrument, as ergonomically user-friendly as it is functional (LR Baggs VTC preamp) and acoustically addictive.

The "Thermally Aged" process subjects the essences to accelerated drying through exposure to high temperatures. Dreadnought Round Shoulder twelve-fret steel-string acoustic guitar, solid torrefied Sitka spruce flate top, solid mahogany back and sides, solid mahogany neck, solid rosewood fingerboard. MaintenanceNitrocellulose varnish, as on vintage Gibson guitars, plays a major role in the instrument's "breathing" thanks to its porous nature (vibrations are not muffled by the varnish). On the other hand, this varnish is sensitive to contact with the plastics and foams of certain stands (we recommend the Hercules brand), as well as to certain excessively detergent cleaning products.
