Electric guitar amp head

Used by such greats as Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page, the Marshall 1959 Super Lead "Plexi" amp - originally produced from 1965 to 1981 - is a myth in the history of amplified music.

Manufactured in the UK's Bletchley factory, the MARSHALL 1959 Modified Head (100 watts, all-tube circuit) faithfully reproduces the original model's unstoppable, wild sound, intelligently complemented by a "master volume" that delivers ample, dynamic crucnhs at realistic volume, a switch activating two overdrive modes and another to boost high frequencies.
