The back and side of this gorgeous model are constructed with koa fine veneer, which is an environmentally conscious, alternative-wood option, made by bonding koa hardwood to an African mahogany core. The result is the show-stopping look of a koa guitar at a great price. But there is so much more to this guitar. Aside from the balance and comfort of the 000, you will get mother-of-pearl-patterned rosette and fingerboard inlay, a full-gloss body, a soft-shell gig bag, Fishman® MX-T electronics, and Martin’s Authentic Acoustic Lifespan® 2.0 strings. With all that, the 000-12E Koa is worthy of any stage.

Très satisfait de cette Martin 000-12E . Je n'en suis pas à ma première Martin de la série "Road" étant déjà l'heureux possesseur d'un 000 10E achetée également chez Stars Music Lyon ainsi que d'une GPC 11E. Le fait qu'elles soient Made in Mexico ne me dérange absolument pas : les guitares de cette séries sont très bien finies, faciles à jouer et sonnent très bien en acoustique comme amplifiée ; elles bénéficient d'un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Cette 000-12E ne déroge pas à la règle avec un son très doux et chaleureux à la fois, cristallin mais pas métallique et avec des basses bien présentes et claires. La forme 000 la rend légère, ergonomique. Ce n'est bien sûr pas aussi noble qu'une 000 28. Mais on a dans les mains une vraie Martin avec le son spécifique de la marque, et de plus elle est très belle, le plaquage Koa du dos et des éclisses est magnifique.
En résumé une excellente acquisition et merci encore au vendeur, très pro et sympa!
