Made in the United States, the MARTIN Custom Shop 0-18 is a compact 0-14-Fret / Parlor-style steel-string acoustic guitar with a short 24.9-inch scale length. It is crafted from premium solid woods, including an Adirondack Spruce solid top and bracing (GE-Scalloped Hand Shaped X), a mahogany back and sides, as well as a mahogany neck and an ebony fingerboard.

"Red Spruce" or "Adirondack" spruce (Picea rubens), highly prized since the 1930s for its use in the construction of Martin guitar tops, is renowned for its superior density.
