Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
Special edition in green finish celebrating the 30th anniversary of Green Day's Dookie album. Billie Joe Armstrong's dirty, punchy, articulate sound on Green Day's 1994 album Dookie made history. BJA created this sound by combining two heavily modified amplifiers, one hyper-saturated with hollowed-out midrange, the other with a crucnh sound and present midrange. The MXR Dookie Drive Pedal 30th Anniversary DD30 brings these iconic sounds back to life. MXR borrowed these legendary amps to analyze and reproduce their performance.
The High Gain and Crunch Gain sections have individual controls, and you can mix the two tracks to your heart's content using the Blend knob, just as BJA did in the studio. The MXR Dookie Drive Pedal isn't just for Green Day fans, as its full, deep and dimensional overdrive will appeal to the widest possible audience.
