Peavey Invective 120 Misha Mansoor

The Peavey invective.120 amp has been designed in collaboration with Misha Mansoor (Periphery), and is designed with metal guitarists in mind. This 120-watt tube amp head features four JJ6L6GCs and top Bias control. At the rear of the amp are parallel speaker outputs with impedance selector, a direct MSDI-XLR output with Level, Tone and Ground Lift controls, a MIDI out/thru connection, and a MIDI pedalboard input. A footswitch is also included, with 9 selectors for loading presets. Note that the head includes two effects loops, which can also be activated via the footswitch. Finally, a selector allows you to halve the power, and two 9V power supplies provide energy for effects pedals. The front panel is equally well equipped. An input allows you to connect your guitar to the amp's three channels (Clean, Crunch and Lead). The Clean channel is completely new to Peavey, and offers pure tones. The Crunch and Lead channels have independent Pre and Post Gain knobs, but share a 3-band EQ from the Peavery 6505. Selectors allow you to engage a boost and a noise gate with threshold adjustment.
