The Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV7 is a 2-channel DJ controller compatible with Serato DJ Pro. It replicates the feel of a classic analog setup: two turntables and a mixer. You get the flexibility of a modern controller in a portable format.

Its layout mirrors that of a DJM-S setup, Pioneer DJ’s dedicated scratch mixer. It pairs with PLX decks in a battle configuration. The tempo sliders are positioned horizontally at the top of the decks—a first for a Pioneer DJ controller.

Motorized VINYLIZED jog wheels: adjustable vinyl-like feel

The jog wheel (the touch-sensitive platter you use to scratch or adjust the tempo) is motorized on the REV7. It offers the same rotational stability as a 12-inch turntable. The acrylic platter features a texture similar to vinyl, providing a secure grip for your fingers.

You can choose between low or high torque—this is the resistance the jog wheel offers when you turn it. You can also slide different slip sheets inside (the felt pads placed under the disc) to fine-tune the friction. The goal: to recreate your usual playing feel.

You can switch from 33 1/3 to 45 rpm on the fly. The Stop Time setting determines whether the track stops abruptly or fades out gradually when paused, just as if you were cutting the power to a real turntable.

DJM-S + PLX Layout: The Battle Setup in a Single Controller

The REV7 places the Performance Pads and Lever FX directly in the mixer section. These are the levers that apply an effect when pressed, keeping your hands free. They’re located exactly where they are on a DJM-S console.

Combined with the horizontal tempo sliders at the top of the decks—which mimic a PLX battle setup—they recreate your analog setup. You don’t need to relearn where each control is located.

On-Jog Display: Essential info without leaving the decks

Each jog wheel features a 3.5-inch LCD screen in the center. It remains visible from any angle, thanks to its omnidirectional view.

You can switch between several display modes. The waveform (the visual representation of the track) shows the BPM and remaining time. The virtual deck mirrors the Serato DJ Pro interface. You can also display the cover art for the current album or your own logo imported via the PC/Mac tool.

The digital playback position marker can be disabled. You can then mark the playback point with the included stickers, just like on a traditional vinyl record.

Instant Scratch and Scratch Bank: Your Sounds Without Relying on a Laptop

The 4 Instant Scratch buttons trigger scratch samples built into the unit. You can use them even without a connected computer. To take it a step further, Serato DJ Pro’s Scratch Bank feature lets you load your own samples—or even entire tracks. You can then trigger them via the pads across four dedicated banks.

3 New Beat FX: Build Your Transitions and Build-Ups

The REV7’s 3 new Beat FX join the 19 already available and are designed specifically for your transitions and outros.

• Duck Down: a roll effect that repeats a fragment of the track in a fast loop. The volume and pitch gradually decrease, creating a track fade-out that gently fades away, like a turntable slow-down.
• Fill Out: a roll with a variable tempo that ends with a fading echo. Useful for filling a gap or reigniting the energy right before a track change.
• Helix Out: The effect samples the current sound and repeats it with a fade-out, like reverb. It also increases the speed and pitch, creating a gradual build-up (a riser) before a drop.

Serato DJ Pro and Pitch 'n Time Voucher

The REV7 works plug-and-play with Serato DJ Pro. Just download the software, plug in the included USB cable, and every button, fader, and jog wheel directly controls the interface.

A voucher for the Serato Pitch 'n Time DJ extension is included. It lets you change a track’s key or synchronize two different tempos without compromising audio quality. This is useful for open-format DJing, when you’re mixing a variety of styles and keys.
