Manufactured in Germany at the Warwick workshops, the SADOWSKY MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage M/J Bass, Red Alder Body, Morado Fingerboard, 4-String (SML21MJ4 32 ALD FR) is a sublime reinterpretation of an iconic solid-body electric bass.

Artisanal craftsmanship delivering exceptional sound

Its construction features an American alder body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a Morado fingerboard (set with 21 frets). This traditional design produces a well-balanced, dense, and responsive acoustic foundation, with:

Thick, punchy bass
Prominent mids
Dynamic and clear highs

Morado, a wood sourced from Brazilian and Bolivian forests, offers high density that produces tones hybrid between rosewood and maple, while providing a very pleasant feel reminiscent of ebony.

Unmatched musical versatility for unlimited creativity

The Vintage M/J Bass stands out for its great versatility, thanks to a pair of Sadowski hum-canceling pickups—a J-Style (Jazz Bass©-type) and an MM-Style humbucker (Music Man©-type)—combined with custom active electronics.

In addition, the VTC (Vintage Tone Control) filter enriches your tonal palette by attenuating high frequencies, giving your tones an authentic vintage character—much as if the bass were passive.

Each instrument comes with a Sadowsky Portabag gig bag for safe and convenient transport.
