Manufactured in Germany at the Warwick workshops, the SADOWSKY MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage M/J Bass, Red Alder Body, Morado Fingerboard, 4-String (SML21MJ4 23 ALD FR) is a sublime reinterpretation of a classic American solid-body electric bass. With its meticulous construction, it stands out as a must-have instrument for all bassists.

High-quality craftsmanship for rich tones

Its construction features an American alder body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a morado fingerboard, all fitted with 21 frets. This traditional design produces a consistent and responsive acoustic foundation, offering:

Thick, punchy bass

Dynamic and clear highs

Morado (Pau Ferro), sourced from Brazilian and Bolivian forests, offers high density, producing a tone that blends the characteristics of rosewood and maple, while providing a very pleasant feel reminiscent of ebony.

High-performance pickups for optimal versatility

The Vintage M/J Bass is ultra-versatile, equipped with a pair of Sadowski hum-canceling J-Style (Jazz Bass©-type) and MM-Style humbucker (Music Man©-type) pickups, as well as custom active electronics. The addition of the VTC (Vintage Tone Control) filter enhances the authenticity of the tones by attenuating high frequencies for a vintage character that will appeal to purists.
