Solid body electric bass

Five-string solid-body electric bass with Sadowski Mid-Boost active preamp, American Swamp Ash body, Maple bolt-on neck, Maple fingerboard, Sadowski Soapbar passive single-coil pickup duo, Sadowsky Quick Release bridge, Sadowsky Vintage-Style tuning machines.

Manufactured in the Warwick workshops in Germany, the SADOWSKY MetroLine 24-Fret Single Cut Bass, Swamp Ash Body 5-String (SML24SV5 90 ASH FR) is an exceptional instrument.
The extended contact zone between the body and the neck exacerbates vibration transfer and overall tonal homogeneity. The SADOWSKI Mid-Boost Bass Preamp 4-Knob is an active preamplifier for passive pickups. Controls include volume, pickup balance, bass/treble (concentric potentiometers, +18db potential on each frequency) and a VTC tone filter (push/pull potentiometer to switch to passive mode). The VTC (Vintage Tone Control) attenuates the treble to give the instrument a warmer, more old-school sound. Slightly lowered, this control moderates string noise. Sadowsky gig bag included.
