The TAYLOR 222ce-K DLX (2024) is a Grand Concert-style electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar with cutaway.
It's a high-quality instrument that's as enjoyable to play as it is to play, whether in the home, in the studio or on stage. The 222ce is a versatile instrument for finger-pickers and flat-pickers alike.
Koa is a tropical hardwood endemic to the island of Hawaii. It's a dense wood that combines the rich midrange of mahogany with the brilliance of maple. Instruments made from Koa will inevitably improve with years of use, gaining in warmth, smoothness and openness. Taylor Expression System 2 Preamp: in order to faithfully retranscribe the amplitude and fundamental character of their acoustics, it took Taylor several years to develop the Expression System (ES). Thanks to new sensors and a substantially reworked circuit, Expression System 2 offers even greater responsiveness and dynamics, and according to Taylor around 25% more warmth.
