Taylor 24ce - natural matte

Electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar, Grand Auditorium cutaway style, made in Mexico. Offered at a very attractive price, the TAYLOR 24ce (Natural Matte) will delight musicians looking for a versatile instrument that's fun to play, functional and of high quality. The combination of an all-Sapele body and Ebony fingerboard produces warm, dense and dynamic tones, with a pronounced focus on the mid-range frequencies. The 24ce features a solid Sapele top, a laminated Sapele back and sides duo, a Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and Fishman Sonitone GT-2 preamp. The Grand Auditorium (owned by Taylor since 1994) is the consensus size. A hybrid between the Grand Concert (00 Classic Classical style) and the indispensable Dreadnought, it is considerably more compact than the latter, which obviously makes for more pleasant ergonomics. Its acoustic amplitude is logically less pronounced, but on the other hand its amplification is facilitated, with fewer feedback problems. The Sapele is a perfect substitute for the Mahogany, both in appearance and sound, although considerably more crystalline due to its considerably greater rigidity.
