The TAYLOR 324ce V-Class is a cutaway Auditorium style electro folk guitar with solid Tropical Mahogany top, Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides and Expression System 2 pre-amplification.
Australian Tasmanian Blackwood is an Acacia which offers intermediate sounds between Hawaiian Koa, Mahogany and to a lesser extent Indian Rosewood (for a subtle shine). Its clear, dynamic and warm midrange gives a remarkable presence to the instrument.
This species also has the virtue of coming from sustainable exploitation in protected forests.
V-Class bracing represents a significant development in the field of acoustic guitars. These innovative bracings, developed by master luthier Andy Powers, give the instrument better projection, better tonal balance, better intonation and incredible sustain.
There is consensus on the Grand Auditorium or 000 template. A hybrid between the Grand Concert (00 classic Classic style) and the essential Dreadnought, it is significantly more compact than the latter, which obviously gives it more pleasant ergonomics.
Its acoustic amplitude is logically less pronounced but on the other hand its amplification is facilitated with fewer feedback/feedback problems.
The Taylor Expression System 2 pre-amp is the result of many months of research, but the end result is remarkable. Few pre-amplifications transcribe with such rigor and finesse the intrinsic temperament and subtlety of an acoustic guitar.
The ES-2 is made up of three elements combining a dynamic sensor on the soundboard, another sensor located under the key, and finally a pre-amp whose voicing has been carefully calibrated.
An unstoppable, impeccable high-end instrument that couldn't be more attractive.
The 324ce has many arguments to put forward: high-end violin making, obvious playing comfort, high acoustic performance with balanced frequencies and character, pre-amplification that is comfortable in any situation and very easy to handle, and for finish a crazy class.
