The WA-MPX is an authentic reproduction of a tube preamp from the tape recording era - Discreet handcrafted construction with 3 tubes - Selectable tape saturation setting, adding natural harmonic distortion and compression - 90dB of gain - Custom wound large core CineMag USA transformers - Mic input: 600Ω transformer (6000Ω nominal) - Mic input with "Tone" engaged: 150Ω (1500Ω) transformer - Premium (2X) 12AX7 & (1X) 12AU7 vacuum tubes - 600Ω output attenuator - High Gain control provides an additional 20db gain (from 70db to 90db) for low output mics and low volume sources - 48v phantom power for low volume sources - 80Hz high-pass filter to control low frequencies - 2kHz low-pass filter to focus power and warmth of the preamp on the midrange for more punch - Inputs: XLR Mic, TS Instrument & TRS Line - Outputs: XLR / TRS line level - VU meter for level indication - Frequency response: 20Hz-20kHz - Aluminium faceplate, steel chassis and vintage bakelite knobs - Internal IEC 115v/230v power supply socket
